"Changes"
m. and l. Billy Brehme

Fear the dark, shadows have clouded my broken heart, I'll find my way out
Feeling my way through all of the things that hold me down, yeah
This has come to be, pain has come to me, nothing but change, nothing but change
Follow me, follow the light that you don't see, note what I've got
A hatful a day is worth the love I've lost
This has come to be, pain has come to me
Nothing but change, nothing but change, everything's changed
Lost on the way, ____ show the love I face, I'll find my way home, I'll take it away
It's time to decide how long it will be, this has come to be, pain has come to me
This has come to be, oh change has come to me

"Guilded Splinters"
m. and l.

I float between, I could touch it all, cast from the shadows, broke from the light
Though I must be crazy, dead but still alive, _______, any friend of Sherite
Walked through the fire and you'll fly through the smoke
Detect my enemy from your records, see the forgotten children, walk on guilded splinters
Misfortune follows me and I can't hide, walk on guilded splinters, walk on pins and needles
Stone cold frozen dead, dead but still alive, _______ poison, cause I can make you stutter
Walked through the fire and you'll fly through the flame
Detect my enemy from your records, see the forgotten children, walk on guilded splinters

"Not Lost"
m. and l.

As we sat down, then we smoked a joint, thought to ourselves, are we lost
I never did nothing wrong, never took another too strong
With that we got up and we walked led by rats, just another martyr for the cause
Gave us the strength to bang the drums
We're not lost, we're together, floating like a feather, looking down (2x)
Looking down, down, naked town, all around (2x)
Yeah, we followed, we'll ask no questions
When you're looking for a home and you're not prepared (not prepared)
We might not agree with the hypocracy, that's not me (that's not me)
Took a wish from the man, not the man, man, brother chili man
Gave us the force to sing a song, yeah, just another martyr for the cause
We're not lost, we're together, floating like a feather, looking down (2x)
Looking down, down, naked town, all around (2x)

"Riverboat Queen"
m. and l.

Several times when I walk these streets unknown
Useless conversation on the telephone and I find the streetlight seem so dimming
Frightening and I ______ to stars and they _______
You need a Riverboat Captain's Queen and a President's wife
And a handful of money and a great big car and that will be you life, that will be your life
All around me, heart in restless agony at times surrounded
With nowhere left to be fighting solice, an angel from the skies
And if I dance in the storm, will the raindrops scream
I need a Riverboat Captain's Queen and a President's wife
And a handful of money and a great big car and that would be my life, that would be my life
Don't stand around me, thinking you might be the same
Yeah this soul is blinded abound my head in shade to the poor man tied and left lame
All the riches in the world won't buy no love
I got a Riverboat Captain's Queen and a President's wife
And a handful of money and a great big car and I ain't got no life
And I ain't got no life and you might be the same

"Slight Return (Instrumental)"
m.

"Sour"
m. and l.

It's not that I need more money or a new-world colored hell
I just need to see myself looking through a flash tube as well
After all we all need a standard for me to believe, a perfect society, a perfect society
And still my world turns turns tragically sour (sour, sour) and it's getting sour by the hour
Solidarity, I don't need a fool for prosperity
Like my work involves some time, I'll make it to what I can't buy
Now must I sacrifice, I need to know the price, you say the price is free, that's all I'll ever need
And still my world turns turns tragically sour (sour, sour) and it's getting sour by the hour
My world turns different colors (sour), but still my world turns turns tragically sour

"Whiter Shade of Pale"
m. Gary Brooker, Matthew Charles Fisher, Keith Reid
l. Keith Reid

We skipped the light fandango, turned cartwheels 'cross the floor.
I was feeling kind of sea-sick, the crowd called out for more.
The room was humming harder, as the ceiling flew away.
When we called out for another drink, the waiter brought a tray.
And so it was much later, as the miller told his tale
That her face at first just ghostly, turned a whiter shade of pale.
She said there is no reason, and the truth is plain to see.
But I wandered through my playing cards, and would not let her be.
One of sixteen vestal virgins, who were leaving for the coast.
And although my eyes were open, they might just as well been closed.
And so it was that much later, as the miller told his tale
That her face at first just ghostly, turned a whiter shade of pale.
